CSE celebrates International Women’s Day 2022

Chittagong, 8 March 2022:

Chittagong Stock Exchange Limited (CSE) celebrates International Women’s Day 2022 on today 8 March 2022 at CSE Conference Room, CSE, Chittagong. CSE has organized this program as the affiliated member of World Federation Exchanges and as a Partner Stock Exchange of the United Nations Sustainable Stock Exchanges Initiative (UN SSE), headquartered in Geneva. Globally, the theme of this year of the event is: ““Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow”.

The program was presided by the CSE Managing Director (Acting) Mr. Md. Ghulam Faruque. The event discussed on different aspects of Gender Equality and Women Empowerment. CSE admired the contribution of their women colleagues for their participation and development of CSE and Bangladesh Capital Market.

CSE Managing Director (Acting) Mr. Md Ghulam Faruque highlighted on creating awareness among the women. Mr. Faruque also mentioned about the vital role of the Stock Exchanges can play in ensuring the gender equality for all women.

Among others CSE Chief Regulatory Officer Mr. Mohammed Mahadi Hasan, CFA, DGM and Head of IT, Mr. Mohammmed Mazbah Uddin, AGM and Company Secretary Mr. Rajib saha and other high officials were present at the event.
